Vanito James Dies at 84

Vanito James Vanito James, also known as Juanito James, of Cruz Bay, St. John, died on Aug. 30, on St. Thomas at the age of 84.
He is survived by his daughters: Denise James and Lorna McClary; son, Erwin James; grandchildren: Jalani Blyden, Natalee Goga and Kamille Goga; adopted children: Elroy Turnbull, Jewel Meyers, Freddie Clark, Rita Nantan and Floyde Brathwaite; sister, Gwynethe Hendricks; sister-in-law, Esther James; daughters-in-law: Clarice Clarke and Nyola Christopher; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, at Bethany Moravian Church. Interment will be at Bethany Moravian Cemetery, St. John
