The American Cancer Society – U.S. Virgin Islands will host its Arabian Nights Gala at 7 p.m., Feb. 18, featuring the renowned Yashira and Sabu, belly dancing and drumming sensations from Puerto Rico.
“We are truly honored to host the American Cancer Society’s Arabian Nights Gala at the ceremonial Catherineberg Residence, St. Thomas,” said Lisa Chamely-Aqui, executive director of the American Cancer Society, U.S.V.I. “There is so much need in the territory, and we are so pleased that funds raised during the gala provide services for underinsured and uninsured cancer patients in the U.S.V.I. during the most trying journey of their lives. I ask everyone to join us for an enchanting evening.”
This year’s gala promises to be an authentic Arabian experience, featuring mezza style cuisine and a bazaar with fascinating items for sale. Tickets are $125 per person.
