In celebration of the Transfer Day Centennial in the U.S. Virgin Islands, a new exhibit will open at the Cinnamon Bay Archaeology Lab on Friday, March 31. V.I. National Park invites the public to join a celebration between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. of the Transfer of the Virgin Islands from Denmark to the United States that took place 100 years ago.
The exhibit highlights the many flags that have flown over what is now the U.S. Virgin Islands. Park staff will be on hand to discuss the history of the islands through time.
