Pistarckle Theater to Hold May 7th Auditions for Three New Playwrights Festival Plays

Pistarckle Theater will hold auditions for The New Playwrights Festival at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 29 and at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 30. It will also hold auditions at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 7.

The theater is looking for four West Indian and/or Jamaican male adults (ages range from early-20s to mid-30s); three West Indian female adults (ages range from late-20s to late-30s); and one Jamaican female senior (mid-50s to mid-60s). This will be the cast for two of the three plays selected.

The third play requires two adult males (mid-30s to mid-50s) and two adult females (mid-30s to mid-50s), and these characters do not require a specific ethnicity.

The performances will be staged readings from the scripts of Act One of the three chosen plays. During the week of May 14-19, there will be two rehearsals between 6:30-9:30 p.m. for each of the three plays. The public performance will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 20.
