Urban & Community Forestry Council to Hold Native Trees and Flowers Fair

The U.S. Virgin Islands Urban & Community Forestry Council Inc. will host the first St. Thomas-St. John V.I. Native Trees and Flowers Fair, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, June 10, in the Emancipation Garden.

The theme is “Love and Let Live V.I. Native Trees.” The fair’s objective is to build community awareness of the importance of protecting and replanting native trees, and to tell participants about the role of the urban and community forestry program.
