The United States Probation Office for the District of the United States Virgin Islands is soliciting vendors to provide: Inpatient and Outpatient treatment services for addicted, drug dependent, and alcohol dependent federal offenders/defendants who are on pretrial release, probation or mandatory release under the supervision of the United States Probation Office. Additionally, vendors are also needed to provide mental health services to the aforementioned population.
All inpatient services shall be performed in the catchment areas comprising of the United States Virgin Islands, Atlanta, Georgia and Miami, Florida. All outpatient treatment shall be performed exclusively in the catchment area of the United States Virgin Islands. The Chief Probation Officer will award contracts under $100,000.00 with an option provision in each contract that shall unilaterally permit the government to extend the contracts through Fiscal Year 2020, if appropriated funds are available at the time the option is exercised. Purchase orders for the initial period shall be effective from October 1, 2017, or the date of the award, whichever comes later, thereafter and including September 30, 2020.
