The politicically motivated melee over security enhancements needs to stop, and everyone needs to go back to work securing the future of the U.S. Virgin Islands .

Corporal punishment breeds violence whether it is meted out by a teacher, teacher’s aide or angry spouse or parent; whether it falls upon a child who talks too much, or a wife who talks back, or a recalcitrant teenager.
