Pistarckle Holds Auditions for Sondheim Musical

Pistarckle Theater will hold auditions for “Putting it Together,” the second musical of Pistarckle Theater's 2011/2012 season.  Auditions are from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, and 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13 at The Pistarckle Theater in Tillet Gardens.
Stephen Sondheim’s brilliantly conceived show includes his best work from “Company,” "Follies,” "A Little Night Music,” "Sweeny Todd,” "Into the Woods,” "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to the Forum,” "Sunday in the Park with George” and more. This is a revue with a difference… a revue that tells a story that takes place in a Manhattan penthouse, but includes the stage of an abandoned theatre, an estate in Sweden, an island outside of Paris, a street off the Roman Forum, the woods of a fairy tale and a mythical town in the Southwest.
Singers need to move well, but minimal dancing is required.  Singers should come with a prepared song, preferably a Sondheim piece, and sheet music.  An accompanist will be available.
Please call the theater at 775-7877 with questions.
