IGBA Meeting Hosts Speaker on Solar Technology

 

The Island Green Building Association (IGBA) will have a public presentation from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, at The Marketplace on St. John, second floor.  Refreshments begin at 5 p.m.  
Gary Udhwani of EcoInnovations VI will showcase solar panels with individual micro-inverters that monitor themselves and send data to your computer.  Other products include solar hot water heaters, pool pumps and street lights.  VI Solar Rebates will be explained to show how these systems can be installed at 50 to 70 percent of cost to reduce or eliminate WAPA bills.  A $500 discount certificate will be given to IGBA members and associates attending the meeting.  Other methods of solar energy and WAPA’s plans for the future will be discussed.
