The Innovative Turkey Bowl, scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 23, will serve as a venue for wholesome entertainment and provide an opportunity to showcase talented, young, local athletes.

This year’s celebration will include the Territorial Junior Varsity Flag Football Game and the Territorial Tackle Football Championship Game. The Tackle Football Game will feature the top team from St. Croix versus the winning team from the district of St. Thomas-St. John. In addition to the games, a parade is also scheduled with appearances by the Charlotte Amalie High School Marching Hawks, the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Marching Rays and the Seventh-day Adventist Pathfinder Drum Corps.

Mark Daniel, Interscholastic Athletic Association president, thanked Innovative for supporting this event and young athletes in the territory. “We are extremely excited about this year’s Turkey Bowl. On behalf of the players, I would like to thank Innovative for their continued support of the St. Thomas-St. John Interscholastic Association,” said Daniel.

The all-star game will include student athletes from the following schools: Addelita Cancryn Junior High School, All Saints Cathedral School, Antilles School, Charlotte Amalie high School, Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School, Gift Hill School and Julius Sprauve School.

Seth R. Davis, president and CEO of the Innovative Companies, stated that events such as the Turkey Bowl serve as a wonderful opportunity for the community to gather and cheer on talented athletes in the Virgin Islands. “Once again, Innovative is proud to sponsor the Turkey Bowl, which gets bigger and better every year. We are very pleases that this activity has featured over 1,500 athletes since its inception. With the inclusion of the marching bands and a parade, this event is now inclusive of our talented young musicians too,“ said Davis.

Kick-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Lionel Roberts Stadium on St. Thomas. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students with ID.
