Pistarckle Theater regrets that it is postponing The George Blackhall Roast fundraiser due to unseasonable conditions. It hopes to hold it at a new time to be announced at a later date. They will confirm via e-mail and phone as soon as the time is fixed.

The following are the movies playing at the Caribbean Cinemas at Market Square East.

The Virgin Islands Cultural Heritage Institute, the Department of Education’s Cultural Education Division and the Virgin Islands Council on the Arts, will host the territory’s Fourth Annual March Music Series, entitled “Tradition Meets 21^st Century.”  The dates for St. Thomas and St. John have been changed due to the weather.

Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 2-4 p.m., on Sunday, March 7. This Sunday, we will feature music by David Gerard and Truffle, Joe Ely, Tom Chapin, Nanci Griffith, Deanna Ogart, Little Arthur Duncan and more.

            The Reichhold Center for the Arts Family Series has taken entertainment to a new level with hip-hop duo Black Violin, a group of vibrant young men who have performed across the United States to critical acclaim. They will perform at Island Center and at Reichhold Center.  

The St. John Film Society presents “Touched” by Laurel Chiten on Tuesday, March 2, at Sputnik. The film is about "people who think they've had contact with aliens, and the Harvard psychiatrist who believes them."

Pistarckle Theater will hold auditions for the final show of the 2009-2010 season, Neil Simon’s comedy “Come Blow Your Horn.” 

Pistarckle Theater Has Changed the performance dates for “Other People’s Money,” scheduled for March and “Come Blow Your Horn,” scheduled for April. These are the new show times.

            Governor John P. de Jongh Jr. is encouraging Virgin Islanders to continue to support the relief effort to Haiti at an upcoming concert performance by more than a dozen local musicians on St. John.

St. John Film Society will present another free film, “Sarayaku: Rivers of Corn,” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, at Market Place, Cruz Bay. There will be a special prix fixe dinner with the filmmaker at 5:30 p.m. at La Plancha del Mar.
