The following movies are playing at Market Square East Theaters on St. Thomas.

St. John Film presents its next ‘On Screen/In Person’ screening of a thought-provoking 59 minute documentary, “What’s Organic About ‘Organic’?” on Dec. 6.

St. John Film will open its fall 2011 film series, meet the filmmaker screening events, with a free screening of the award-winning documentary “Free Swim,”a 50-minute documentary directed by Jennifer Galvin.

Sputniks presents a free movie night at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, at Sputniks in Coral Bay-- a short titled “A Tribute to Annie Love” and a feature film called “Heart of the Sea.”

The St. John Film Society will present Free Movie Night at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at the St. John School of the Arts, Cruz Bay. The film is titled “TAKING ROOT: The Vision of Wangari Maathai” (80 minutes, 2008).

The St. John Film Society’s free film series continues with an excellent line up this winter. The season will begin with “Playing for Change: Peace Through Music” by Mark Johnson and Johnathan Walls on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at Sputnik's in Coral Bay.

The St. John Film Society will show “Pete Seeger: Power of Song” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, at Sputnik.

St. John Film is partnering with the National Park, the University of the Virgin Islands and Friends of the Park to celebrate Earth Day and Reef Fest 2010.

The St. John Film Society will show “The Agronomist,” about the late Haitian radio broadcaster Jean Léopold Dominique  on Thursday evening, March 18, at The Marketplace in Cruz Bay.  

The St. John Film Society presents “Touched” by Laurel Chiten on Tuesday, March 2, at Sputnik. The film is about "people who think they've had contact with aliens, and the Harvard psychiatrist who believes them."
