Vendor applications are now available. Anyone who is interested in being a vendor at the annual Virgin Islands Carnival Committee's boat races on Sunday, April 25.

Better Dads V.I. in conjunction with “The People’s Community Action Radio (CAR)” will host fathering skills workshops featuring author and speaker Rick Johnson, founder of “Better Dads.” A series of workshops on radio within the correctional facilities and in the community at large will be held on all three islands.

The Territorial Archives of the Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums (DLAM) of the DPNR, with funding from a grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS), announces a Preservation Management Workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at the UVI Administration and Conference Center on St. Thomas, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, at Florence Williams Public Library in Christiansted

The Moravian School Fundraising Committee is sponsoring its second Chorale Competition on Saturday evening, March 13, at the Charlotte Amalie High School Auditorium. The emcee for the night will be noted evangelist Bridget Blucher-Simms.

Virgin Island National Park has announced the first recipients of the Safety Recognition Awards, who were chosen by peers and supervisors for acts proving their dedication to safety for others.

All five weather stations of a system called VI Mesonet were completed on Dec. 15 with the mounting of sensors at Sandy Point, St. Croix, and Savannah Cay.
