This week The Source launches The Road To College, a new series designed to help young people and their parents with different aspects of preparing for college.

 All public school music educators in the St. Thomas-St. John School District are scheduled to attend a workshop entitled“Technology Integration into the Music Classroom” at 1:30 p.m.on Thursday, Aug. 26.

The Virgin Islands University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (VIUCEDD) will host the 7th annual “Voices That Count” policy forum entitled “Turn Voices Into Votes.” This event brings individuals with disabilities, service providers, advocates and Virgin Islanders who are running for public office together to discuss issues that affect people with disabilities and promote systemic change.

St. Thomas-St. John District reminds school lunch personnel of the scheduled mandatory training sessions. The schedule is as follows:

Parents and guardians of students attending the Julius E. Sprauve School (K-9) are advised of the scheduled orientation on Sunday, Aug. 29.
