ANTILLES WINS IN JV BASKETBALL

In junior varsity basketball action, Omari Peterkin led the Antilles Hurricanes to a victory over Charlotte Amalie High School Thursday. The Hurricanes then scored a win over defending JV Champions Addelita Canryn on Saturday. Peterkin contributed 24 of Antilles 52 total points, according to the Daily News.
The presence of over six foot tall Peterkin has helped Antilles to a three way tie in the JV league with the Boschulte, and Kean schools. In other weekend action New Horizons defeated Young Antilles and Boschulte finished ahead of All Saints. There is a lot more basketball to play however, with nine teams in the junior varsity basketball league.
