HOLMBERG WINS THREE OF FIVE, DROPS TO SECOND

Markus Wieser's perfect day of five wins pushed him in to first place at the Congressional Cup, with Peter Holmberg trailing by one win.
The best sailing weather of the week allowed five races to be sailed. The more consistent conditions did not favor all the top contenders however with Peter Holmberg and Paul Cayard both scoring three wins and two losses for the day.
Long Beach Yacht Club local Scott Dickson found his form defeating two of the top placed sailors, Holmberg and Italy's Francesco de Angelis.
There are three rounds to go in the prestigious event. The final three races will be real nail bitters as both Wieser and Holmberg sail against number three placed Paul Cayard as well as sailing against each other. Wieser must also race de Angelis presently standing in fourth.
