TWO ARMED ROBBERIES MAR HOLIDAY WEEKEND

Two separate incidents of armed robbery, one at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, April 3, and one at 8:18 p.m. Sunday, April 4, were reported over the holiday weekend, police announced Tuesday.
The first incident occurred at the Airport Texaco station across from the airport entrance. Four men dressed in black and wearing red and black masks drove into the station in a white four-door Mazda and robbed the station of about $800. One of the suspects struck an attendant with the butt of a shotgun. They also robbed a patron of $20 and left in the white Mazda, heading west.
In the second incident the following night, three men — also dressed in black and wearing red and black masks — entered an alley connecting Seventh-day Street and Prindsen Gade in the area of People's Bar and robbed several people of an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects were all armed with guns.
