WALLACE TWINS NAMED PRINCE AND PRINCESS

For perhaps the first time in Carnival history, a set of twins was named Prince and Princess of Carnival ‘99.
The sister and brother, 9-year-olds Sayeeda and Steadson Wallace, were crowned Sunday night during the Carnival Prince and Princess competition at Lionel Roberts Stadium.
Four couples competed for the honor in three categories: presentation, fashion and talent, according to the Daily News.
First runners-up were Esonica Veira, 9, and D’Andre Weekes, 11, who were also named Most Photogenic.
The Wallace twins were also named Mr. and Miss Intellect.
