CFVI OFFERING THREE SCHOLARSHIPS

The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands is accepting applications from students from the Virgin Islands for three scholarships for the 1999/00 school year:
— ANNA WALSH SCHOLAR AWARDS. Approximately $7,000 is expected to be disbursed this year in one-year, renewable grants to students enrolled in any accredited college or university who have completed two semesters.
— THEODORE E. SHARP SCHOLAR AWARD. This is a $500 award to a student with an outstanding record in community service who has applied to, or is already enrolled in, any accredited college or university.
— ARTRELLE M. WHEATLEY SCHOLARSHIP. This will provide one year’s full tuition to a student at the University of the Virgin Islands with an outstanding record in community service and who has already completed two semesters at UVI.

— CFVI Office, #6 Dronningens Gade, Suite 210, 2nd Floor.
— By calling CFVI at 774-6031.
Completed applications and all accompanying documentation must be postmarked no later than June 1 and mailed to: CFVI, P.O. Box 11790, St. Thomas, USVI 00801.
The awards will be announced on or before July 15.
