Governor Charles W. Turnbull proclaimed the week of April 18-24, as the "Week of the Young Child."
The V.I. Early Childhood Association, in conjunction with the National Association of Young Children, is sponsoring this observance.
The governor calls upon the appropriate agencies, schools, civic and other organizations and the people of the Virgin Islands to join in this observance and to participate in the activites scheduled.
