TURNBULL MAKES THREE MORE APPOINTMENTS

Gov. Charles W. Turnbull has nominated three members to serve on the V.I. Housing Finance Authority board.
They are Claire Roker of St. Croix, Pedro K. Williams from St. Thomas and Winston Bennett of St. John.
Roker is a former assistant commissioner of Tourism and a community activist. She succeeds Lowell Schuster.
Williams, an attorney, succeeds Denise Reovan. He currently sits on the Board of Governors for the V.I. Bar Association and holds various positions with the St. Thomas Assembly of God.
Bennett is an entrepreneur who has served on the USVI Banking board and on the board of the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce. He also volunteers for many organizations on St. John including, the Boy Scouts, St. John Fire Department and the Julius Sprauve School. He succeeds Yvonne Turnbull
The Housing Finance Authority Board has five members. The other two members are the commissioner of Housing, Parks and Recreation and the Budget director.
The three members serve two-year terms and must be approved by the Legislature.
