Doctor's Choice – the territory's largest pharmacy chain – is under new ownership and management.
A new corporation, Inter-Island Pharmacies Inc., owned by Jared I. Falek, Dr. Alfred O. Heath and Walter Hutchins IV, has bought the four stores formerly owned by Doctor's Choice Pharmacy Inc.
The four pharmacies are located at Wheatley Shopping Center, Medical Arts Complex and Market Square in St. Thomas and Sion Farm (inside Plaza Extra) in St. Croix.
The new owners plan to keep the Doctor's Choice name because of its familiarity to its clientele.
All four Doctor's Choice pharmacies accept major insurance cards and offer discounts to senior citizens. Prescriptions can be presented at each location or faxed in.
