PUBLIC WORKS COMMENCES TRAFFIC COUNTS

The Public Works Department Office of State Planning and Research has started collecting traffic couts on St. Thomas. Automatic traffic counters have been installed on Routes 33, 39, and 384.
These counters are essentnial to the research and compilation of accurate records. Public Works Acting Commissioner harold G. Thompson Jr. asks the public not to tamper with or remove the equipment.
If you should see anyone tampering withthese counters or should any become loose, please contact call 776-4844 ex. 262.
