SUMMER OF SAM GRABS A MOMENT OF NEW YORK

A Spike Lee film set in New York during the hot summer of 1977. The disco craze is at it's peak. Thousands of young people are out at the clubs forgetting their troubles until the realization that a serial killer, calling himself "Son of Sam" is stalking the same night spots. Lee focuses on the reactions of individuals and a neighborhood in his sharply drawn portrait of a moment in the history of New York City.
The movie stars John Leguizamo, Adrien Brody, Jennifer Esposito, Anthony LaPaglia and Mira Sorvino and is rated R.
