Tourism Commissioner-designate Michael Bornn wants to talk with the territory's taxi drivers about their "new and improved" role in strengthening the Virgin Islands tourism industry.
He's inviting the St. Thomas drivers to a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, at the V.I. Taxi Association clubhouse in Contant.
Similar meetings will be scheduled on St. Croix and St. John, according to a release from Government House.
