St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce president John deJongh Jr. will address the League of Women Voters in his capacity as chair of the Governor's Fiscal Recovery Task Force at a noon luncheon on Monday, Aug. 23, at L'Escargot.
DeJongh will describe the five-year economic recovery plan and budget plans being proposed for the government.
The meeting is open to the public but reservations are required for the luncheon. They may be made by calling Elizabeth Delagarde at 776-0287 or Eleanor Cerge at 776-9357 by Friday, Aug. 20.
