NPS OFFICIALS TO DISCUSS MOORINGS, OTHER ISSUES

V.I. National Park officials have called a community meeting in Cruz Bay to discuss recent and soon-to-be-made National Park Service changes that will affect the St. John community.
Recently installed moorings, efforts to create vessel management and commercial service plans, and an update on park fees are among the topics to be tackled. The meeting is set for Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the St. John Legislature Building conference room.
The meeting, open to the general public, will have an open-forum format that will allow for questions and answers on these and other topics of community interest, an NPS release stated. Further information may be obtained by calling 776-6201, ext. 241.
