Relocation of Police Department offices to the Alexander Farrelly Criminal Justice Complex have disrupted hours for some police bureaus, including Records and the Firearms Unit.
Police Commissioner Franz Christian announced Tuesday that the Records Bureau has cut back hours and will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon until March 28. The Firearms Unit will be closed entirely from Thursday through March 30 as it relocates to the ground floor of the Farrelly building.
In addition, the offices of the chief of police and the Investigations Bureau has already relocated and their phone numbers changed temporarily. Regular numbers are expected to be transferred Wednesday.
