A new umbrella group, V.I. Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters, is hosting the second of two free workshops for member agencies and other voluntary groups involved locally in responding to disasters. The sessions deal with how to manage donated goods and volunteer services in a large-scale disaster and communicate effectively to the public.
