A KNIGHT'S TALE , COMPLETE WITH QUEEN

In "A Knight's Tale," Heath Ledger stars as a peasant who pretends to be a knight to improve his lifestyle by winning jousting tournaments.
The film is full of silly gags, repetitive jousting matches and romance. It takes Heath only a month to train and become an expert in the sport. He is like the Michael Jordan of jousting.
"A Knight's Tale" doesn't take itself too seriously as it mixes modern rock music, especially a good selection of Queen songs, with chivalry. It feels a bit odd and sometimes inappropriate, but then again, if the peasants and royalty of medieval Europe can dance to it, so can others.
This film falls right between not great and not awful. Basically a mediocre movie that will give you some belly laughs, pretty women to look at and lots of knights on horses fighting.
While not completely satisfying, "A Knight's Tale" may be worth a frivolous escape. Along with Ledger it also stars Shannyn Sossamon, Rufus Sewell, Mark Addy, Laura Fraser and Paul Bettany.
By the way, for those who stay past the end credits, there is a surprise waiting for you.
