SERVICES TUESDAY FOR EMELDA JACKSON

Emelda Jackson, of Plot #8 Estate Whim, died Saturday, May 19, at Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 80.
Funeral services are planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29 at St.Luke's A.M.E. church, Grove Place. A viewing will precede the service beginning at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at St. Luke's Cemetery.
She is survived by her brothers, Hugo and Ricardo Jackson; nieces, Maisey, Wendy, Sheryl, and Una Jackson, and Quillermina Jackson Powell; nephews, Valdemar Jackson, Ricardo Jackson Jr., Clemence Hendrickson, and Roy Hendrickson; aunt, Emmerita Thomas; 17 great-nieces, 13 great-nephews; sisters-in-law, Flossie and Anna Mae Jackson; special cousins, Ann and Renholdt Jackson and Sarah James; good friends, Althea Marshall, Anna Maynard, and Yvonne Servania; the Powell family of Calquohoun; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of James Memorial Funeral Home.
