WAPA TO DO WATER LINE WORK ALONG ROUTE 105

Aug. 3, 2001 – For a week beginning Monday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., the Water and Power Authority will be digging trenches along the Frank Bay Road (Route 105) in order to carry out maintenance of intake lines from the St. John desalination plant.
The work "is part of the authority's effort to bring relief to the St. John community's water problems," a WAPA release stated. It asked that motorists exercise caution traveling in the area while the work is under way.
