HEARING TUESDAY ON PHYSICAL THERAPY BILL

Jan. 18, 2002 – A revised version of a proposed Physical Therapy Practice Act will be considered when the Senate Health and Hospitals Committee meets at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Legislative Conference Room on St. Croix.
The bill has been proposed by Sen. Douglas Canton Jr., who chairs the committee. Among those invited to testify are Health Commissioner Mavis Matthew and Angelica Schuster, chair of the territory's Board of Physical Therapy. The complete text of the 19-page bill is posted on the senator's web page.
