June 28, 2002 – The engagement of Anastasia McGuinness, daughter of Carol McGuinness of St. John, V.I., formerly of Rowayton, Conn., and the late John Patrick McGuinness, to James Leigh Richmond, Esq., son of Shelia Templin of Greenville, S.C., and the late George Colin Richmond, is announced.
Anastasia McGuinness, who graduated from Florida State University with a master's degree in geography, is a planner with the Florida Community Affairs Department. Richmond graduated from Florida State University with a juris doctorate degree. He is presently an attorney for the Florida Community Affairs Department, primarily representing the Florida Building Commission.
A December wedding is planned.
