WOMEN, YOUR VOTE IS NEEDED; USE THE POWER WISELY

Dear Source,
First let me take this opportunity to publicly thank all who were motivated, inspired and excited by the Hendricks – Scott-Williams candidacy. Your unwavering support, confidence, encouragement and congratulations were extremely encouraging.
The past eight weeks were most eventful. Prior to May 5th of this year, Stephanie Scott-Williams was not running for anything. On May 5th I was contacted by a member of the Hendricks campaign about running with Dr. Olaf Hendricks. I was less than pleasant when approached. Dr. Hendricks and I met on May 7th, and from that date to June 26th I was actively engaged in establishing how I could be an asset to the Hendricks campaign as the lieutenant gubernatorial candidate.
Accepting the call from the Hendricks camps to serve as Dr. Hendricks' Lt. Gov. put all of us so much closer to truly developing and implementing realistic solutions to the issues and concerns, of the: youth, elderly, disabled, environment, women and children, status, government operations, business, consumers – to name a few, for which I continue to advocate.
Prior to being recruited by the Hendricks camp other gubernatorial candidates were actively recruiting me to participate in their campaigns. Now that I am no longer in the race, they are aggressively after my endorsement, support, the issues of women and children and the Women's vote.
Ladies of the Virgin Islands, we have the bargaining power! This is probably the first time in our history that We, the Women will be aggressively and seriously courted for our support and our vote.
We have the votes the candidates need! Do not be hasty! Be Still! Think Big! Let us use our power wisely and in the best interest of our children, our families and our communities. Now is the time to develop our agenda, to develop plans & solutions.
