July 12, 2002 – South Florida singer-songwriter Steven Vincent has a two-week round of gigs booked at St. Croix night spots starting July 23.
Vincent describes himself as "transplanted from the Philadelphia area and now based in the South Florida region," where he has maintained a solo career as a professional musician for several years. "My original music has been heard on some of South Florida's top radio stations, along with several live acoustic broadcasts," he says.
His shows combine voice and acoustic guitar for some songs and employ "one-man band" backing tracks for others. His repertoire is strong on original pop songs and covers of a veritable "Who's Who" of rock, pop, r&b, reggae, folk, soul and other hit sounds from the '60s to the present.
