'MANGO MELEE' WILL HAVE LOTS OF ACTIVITIES

The sixth annual "Mango Melee and Tropical Fruit Festival" is set for Sunday, July 28, at the St. George Village Botanical Garden on St. Croix from noon to 6 p.m. The event, sponsored by UVI's Cooperative Extension Service, the St. George Garden, and V.I. departments of Agriculture and Tourism will include mango and papaya eating competitions, a silent auction of fruits, a farmers' market, garden tours, fruit tasting, a mango cook-off and much more.
