"Understanding Your Septic System" is the next workshop in the UVI Cooperative Extension Service's series on home and farm water quality.
The St. Thomas session will be at 5:30 p.m. July 24, in the Training Room of the UVI Sports and Fitness Center.
Topics covered will include: how septic systems function; how to site and design a system; how to operate and maintain a system; failure warning signs; and evaluating septic systems for pollution potential.
