VITEMA and the University of the Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center will present a forum on natural hazards management at Marriott Frenchman's Reef Beach Resort.
Panelists will discuss disaster preparedness planning, the insurance industry, mitigation, earthquake and hurricane preparedness and exemplary practices in emergency management. The community is invited to attend. Admission is free.
The forum is being brought in conjunction with the VI Insurance Association, WSTA, TV12, St. Thomas/St.John Chamber of Commerce, St. Thomas/St. John Hotel Association, Price Smart, Knight Quality Stations and the Frenchtown Civic Association.
