July 2, 2002 – The Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency will host a Hurricane Awareness Forum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, July 19, at Government House in Christiansted. VITEMA will also host a Hurricane Awareness/Disaster Mitigation Fair at 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Sunny Isle on Saturday, July 20.
VITEMA's focus this year is on bringing the community and business owners together in preparation for the hurricane season.
