DPNR TO HOST SEMINARS ON RULES & REGULATIONS

July 26, 2002 – The Division of Environmental Protection of the V.I. Planning and Natural Resources Department, Small Business Technical Assistance Program personnel want to be sure small businesses know the rules and regulations that they must comply with.
The agency will conduct free seminars Aug. 29 on St. Thomas for bakeries, pesticide control operators, small airline operators, boat building and repair services, machine shop operators and lawnmower operators.
The seminars have been scheduled on St. Thomas for Thursday, August 29, at Palm Court Harbor View Hotel:
Bakeries – 9 – 10 a.m.
Pesticides – 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Non-road Engines/Boat Building & Machine
Shops – 1 – 4 p.m.
All interested parties must register by Friday, August 9. To register contact Marian Baptiste on St. Croix at 773-1082 or the technical assistance program hotline at 714-9529.
