FIREARM HOLDER REMINDERS

Aug. 15, 2002 – Holders of firearm licenses are reminded that notification must be made in writing of any change in address during the applied licensed period and that firearm owners are required to obtain permission to purchase any weapon or to import a weapon from off island. Anyone acquiring a firearm prior to receiving permission through the Virgin Island Police Department's Firearms Bureau will run the risk of not having their firearm registered. Firearm licenses can be renewed up to 90 days prior to expiration.
