Aug. 17, 2002 – Emily R. Carter, principal of E. Benjamin Oliver Elementary School has announced the opening schedule for new and returning students:
Aug. 21 – 8 a.m. Testing for Kindergarten students 10 a.m. Testing for new students in grades 1 to 5.
Aug. 26 – 8 – 10 a.m. Testing available for Kindergarten students and new students whho have not been tested. students are not required to wear uniforms.
Aug. 27 – 8 a.m. Students in grades 1 to 5 are to report to school in proper school uniform.
Aug. 28 – 8 a.m. Kindergarten orientation. A parent or guardian must accompany each student. Students in grades 1 to 5 are also to attend classes on this date.
Aug. 29 – 8 a.m. All students, Kindergaten and grades 1 to 5, are to report to school.
