JARVIS SCHOOL TO CELEBRATE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Aug. 17, 2002 – The J. Antonio Jarvis Elementary School will host a celebration to kick off the 2002-2003 school year. Students and parents are asked to give attention to the following schedule:
Aug. 27 – All students in grades 1 to 6 are to report to the main campus at 7:50 a.m. dressed in proper school uniform and with $40 to pay for workbooks, school insurance, gym clothes and computer fees. New and transferring students are to bring their updated immunization cards and admission slips from the Office of the Insular Superintendent.
Aug. 28 – Only Kindergarten students with last names beginning with A-H are to report to the school library for orientation and registration at 8:30 a.m. Kindergarteners are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents are asked to bring the child's immunization card and admission slip from the Insular Superintendent's Office and $40 to pay school fees. These students will remain at school until 2:35 p.m.
Aug. 29 – Only Kindergarten students with last names beginning with I-Z are to report to the school library for orientation at 8:30 a.m. They are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents must bring the child's immunization card, their admission slip from the Office of the Insular Superintendent and $40 to pay for school fees. Kindergarteners will remain at school until 2:35 p.m.
Aug. 30 – All Kindergarten students will attend school for a full day.
