BERTHA BOSCHULTE SCHOOL SETS ORIENTATION

August 19, 2002 – Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School reporting dates are as follows:
— Wednesday, Aug. 21 10 a.m. – 6th grade students.
— Thursday, Aug. 22 10 a.m. – 7th grade students
— Thursday, Aug. 22 1 p.m. – 8th grade students
Students are to be dressed in full school uniform for these orientation sessions.
Parents are requested to accompany all students, said the release. Students without a parent or guardian will not receive a class schedule.
The orientation program will consist of a thorough explanation of rules and regulations for the school; a review of the promotion policy; a tour of the school for new students and their parents; and the distribution of class schedules. Parents are encouraged to come with questions they may have about the school year. The sessions are expected to last about three hours.
Orientation will also provide parents and guardians with an opportunity to purchase student identification cards, school insurance and physical education uniforms. The approximate cost of these items is $35.
