Aug. 30, 2002 – The 18th Labor Day 5K Road Race will be held at 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2. The 3.1-mile race will start at Southgate on the East End Road and finish in Christiansted.
This event is in memory of Dale Goodwin, the coach of the St. Croix Track Club, in which her children have been active members. Over the years Dale maintained a dedication to running and the positive impact it has on one’s overall development. Dale died in August of 2001.
