CLEANUP OF COKI BEACH PLANNED FOR SEPT. 21

Sept. 9, 2002 – "The Friends of Coki Point Beach" will sponsor a cleanup of Coki Beach on Sept. 21 beginning at 9 a.m. According to an e-mail message from Nanci and Alfredo Prince, "Everyone is invited to come out and help clean up our beach."
Participants are to meet at the Keesh Lorraine Beach Cafe and Boutique at Coki Beach. "We have trash bags," owner Lorraine Testamark said, but people need to bring gloves and rakes and any other implements they want to use.
Staff of the Princes' worlddome.com staff will be taking pictures for The Official Cokie Point Beach & Dive Klub Web site, as well as picking up trash, Nanci Prince said. "The site will be created and hosted free of charge by the design staff at worlddome.com," the release stated.
For more information, call the Princes at 777-8190.
