V.I. ATLANTA ASSOCIATION TO DANCE, PLAY BALL

April 11, 2003 — The V.I. Association of Atlanta has weekend activities Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, April 11 and 12.
From 10 p.m. until … Friday, there'll be music by the Deathzone Productions and Zone One at the Zone Lounge. Come out and party V.I. style, said a release.
Directions: From Downtown Atlanta, take I-75/I-85 south to I-85 South. Go to Old National Highway/South Fulton Parkway. Go towards Old National Highway; make left onto Old National. The Zone Restaurant and Lounge is located on the right next to the Waffle House. Turn right before the Waffle House.

And for those who didn't dance the night away, VIAA presents the first annual basketball tournament at the Decatur Recreation Center in downtown Decatur, 231 Sycamore Street (next to the library). Doors open at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, and games begin at 3 p.m. Players represent various Caribbean islands and Metro Atlanta. Admissions are $2 child, $3 VIAA member, $5 general.
Directions: 285N, make left on E. Ponce de Leon, left on Church Street and left on Sycamore. Call (404) 377-0494 for directions.
