July 16, 2003 – FirstBank Virgin Islands, in conjunction with the University of the Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center and the Government Development Bank, will be conducting a seminar on the basics of small business loans at the end of July on St. Thomas and St. Croix.
Attendees of the seminar will be provided with the guidelines of how to get a small business started, including information on how to access credit to maximize business opportunities, the UVI.-SBDC's programs and services and the GDB's program as an alternative to bank loans.
The seminar for St. Thomas will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, at the SBDC's training facility at Nisky Center, and on St. Croix, the seminar will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SBDC's facility at the Sunshine Mall.
