July 30, 2003 – Residents of the John F. Kennedy, D. Hamilton Jackson, Ralph DeChabert and Alphonso "Piggy" Gerard communities are invited to attend an "Operation Weed and Seed" strategy meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 31.
Operation Weed and Seed is a multi-agency strategy designed to weed out crime and seed the designated neighborhood with a range of human services programs to stimulate revitalization.
This program is community-driven and depends upon active participation from residents for its success.
